Decanted off small amount of fine sediment. Medium-dark red color with limited transparency. Aromas in the plum, raspberry, and blueberry range. Palate has some bay leaf and smoke notes with berry and plum carrying into a medium-long finish. This has fully integrated and is a nicely-developed fruit-centered Syrah. Drink at leisure.

The nose shows blackberry compote laced with a peppery meaty/savory note. Good acidity, very bright and clean on the palate, black fruits, anise, savory and juicy grapey fruit. Really nice palate weight, lean, very lively and tart, shows young and full of life. This style of Syrah is 180 degrees opposite from an Alban Reva or SQN. Not necessarily better, but different and more food friendly.

Probably waited a tad too long on this one, but the nose wouldn't support that claim--engaging fruit and floral notes. More about structure than fruit, at this point, not that it's too thin, but it does finish with a bit more acid/tart than you might hope. Lovely bones in many ways.

PnP at Baci in Healdsburg. Great with good Italian. Reached its best after 30 min. Probably reaching the end of a great drinking window. Drink up-unlikely to improve.
