Deep Golden color; almost copper Sweet aroma; pear in nature Spicy kick to it; short finish Alluring and interesting. Very complex on the palate. Stone fruit flavor

(Disgorged in 2007, 40% Pinot Noir and 60% Chardonnay from Grand Cru villages Avize, Cramant, Chouilly, Verzenay and Ambonnay) Golden yellow colour with a stream of very fine bubbles. Mature nose showing vanilla oak, yellow plums and some dried fruit in a very pleasant way. Smooth and creamy yellow plums acidity at first on the delicious palate before transforming into the very nice and lengthy intense finish showing a touch of ginger. This is a very well made cuvée that is In a wonderful spot and drinking in a delicious way right now! (Best 2013-2033)

Lovely nose, but huge disjunction with the palate. Nose shows: floral notes, a touch of nuts and rich oxidative character. Lovely bubbles still lift all the flavors. On the palate, this is so acid-driven...maybe even out of balance, and not what the nose suggests: loads of sweet lime and tart meyer lemon: vibrant acidity and did really well with the food.

Toast, Brioche, lime. Very precision and pure in the finish. Very elegant and positively reluctant. Really suprised. My number two in this flight. At his Peak. 96
