  • Very young but already stunning

  • Although still a bit tight (decanting highly recommended, or let this vintage continue to develop), this wine shows great potential. Inky purple in the glass and the nose is strong of "feet" but the flavors prove quite coy. This wine is not going to come to you, but rather invite you to come up to its level of subtle complexity. Quite mineral, but dark berry and tobacco if you prove patient enough to allow it to develop on your palette. Not for the rookie wine drinker, but something that can be appreciated.

  • <Coravin> Disappointing. An OK Douro but lacks the concentration and depth expected at this level. Pale red fruits and very little mineral. Will see where it goes.

Coravin'ed once more and then opened bottle. Still pretty anemic and never hits Douro vibe. Disappointing in a big way.
