  • Beautiful wine! Friend's bottle from auction at dinner with good company --good fill and capsule; slightly raised cork. Capsule and cork came out with little effort. Wine has color of tarnished brass or good cidre de Bretagne. Smelled of apples, lily of the valley and creme brulee. Fantastic acidity helps balance the medium-sweetness: macintosh apple, stewed pear, caramel, kumquat, lemon juice. Reminiscent of dry cider or a less alcoholic calvados. Great with food but shines on its own. Could drink all day.
