Similar to previous note. Only additional point to note is that it does need some air to open up and shouldn’t be drunk too cold (straight out of wine fridge at 13C was definitely not warm enough).

Nice juicy malbec - red fruits, quite soft tannins, some chocolate and vanilla from the oak, all well integrated. Not great but easy drinking for a weekday evening. Personally I didn't notice the alcohol that others have pointed out (which I normally do if it is evident). Will happily hold for another couple of years, but not likely to develop any notable complexity.

Another good example of excellent cost/benefit from Viña Cobos. Felino 2018 has beautiful ruby color showing some orange hues and some sediments in the glass. Nice plum and red ripe fruit in nose as expected, extra vanilla and toffee if waits longer in the glass. It has still some sharp edges in body waiting to be softened. I think alcohol is a bit over present. I thing it’s in peak right now. Drink it before 2023.

Disappointing. Dark fruit nose with a hint of almond extract at the end. Dark fruit flavours overwhelmed by sharp acidity (almost a bit of alcohol heat too) and that was it, it just sort of sat there like that. This was on sale for $10 off and wasn't worth it. Opened to share amongst 5 people and a third of the bottle was left over.

Fairly firm tannins, nose of raspberry and turned earth, slightly funky. On the palate there is brambly fruit, blueberry, clove and violet. Unfiltered
