Decanted for 1 hour, consumed from hours 1-3. Aromas of red fruit, black fruit, spice, with a fair amount of reduction (matchstick) that didn’t entirely blow off. Flavors of black cherry, black fruit, smoke, light astringent, and light tannins. Medium+ body. Alluring texture. Moderate+ structure/finish. Drinkable, but young. Clearly a step above the Clos Electrique. This needs at least 5 years, but I won’t touch this again until 2030. 93-95.

A separate bottling from Abbey Ridge. I'm always a fan of the Cameron Pinots, but this seems to be on an even higher level in terms of class. Darker color, and the fruit is also more on the dark side. There's also some spice throughout. The texture here is outstanding. Delicious now but has an underlying structure and this will age very well.

Star anise dominated which is a first for me for Pinot! But very well balanced and delicious.

Wow, in ten plus years this will be amazing. So much potential and structure. Quite dark, tightly wound.
