Super ripe, full bodied white. The varietal character of white pepper and lentals seems to be somewhat washed out. Maybe time will brings things together.

Opened during a tasting at an Indian restaurant called Rasika in Washington DC. Went with the first course of spicy, fried spinanch. The flavors went perfectly. Minerally wine.

Dallmayr "Herbst Weinprobe" autumn tasting 2003:
complex nose, typical, hay, flowers, grass, nuances of honey;
taste with good balanced acid, good finish, yellow fruits (e.g. quince).
