It was worth the wait (from 2015) I am glad I waited. Full bodied while well balanced: smppthed tannins, plums, notes of cassis with black cherry, some acidity but not overpowering. Wish I had more.

This was cellared for 5 years, finally test and a super smooth wine, glad I waited. Full bodied, extremely easy tannins, plums, blueberrys with black cherry friuts. Tobacco/smoke on the backend. (easy front end and long lingering backend). Paired with seared tuna with parmesan truffle very, very well! Tech sheet shows cellaring till 2030, great investment for future enjoyment.

This was a very pleasant Saint-Estpèphe that I picked up with a crazy deal (only ended up paying about $13). I would probably pay about $20 for it given the quality. It was a little more middle-weight than I had been expecting for a 2010, but it did improve over the day as it was open.

Nothing offensive and nothing special; typical bdx style. Not much to say about this, a bit muted.

Dark nose, nicely structured. Just what you would expect from 2010 Saint Estephe. Hit the spot after a long day on the slopes.
