  This is probably the finest expression of a true Bordeaux blend by an American producer that I have had to date. It's a deep, cloudy, orange-rimmed, garnet color. Black cherry, plum, bell pepper, leather, and baking spices on the nose. Palate is silky yet astringent as it mingles with your taste buds. Simply delicious.

  Probably drank this too young or the style of the is not super suited to long term ageing. Fruit is pretty thick and extractive. Oak isn't overbearing which is nice but the tertiary complexity hasn't really shown up much in this wine and the tannins kinda feel greenish?
  It's alright, but for what I paid for a wine with 8 years of age on it I'm a bit disappointed.

  W tofu /shitaki / kimchi rice dish. Actually very good combo. Yummy dish. Very solid california cab withgreat fruit body and finish. Debatable on QPR but nice wine for sunday night and certainly better with cellar time. We like the marinus!

  W porkchop from skillet apples and onions,broccoli. Yummy meal and good combo. Great on opening and git much better. But murky at the bottom. Drink now wine. Will do well with pork and beef.
