  Colour: inky plum red
  Nose: rich ripe plum, blueberry, cassis, dried black fruit. Meaty, the kind of meatiness of ripe blueberries. White pepper. Sweet spice, touch of old oak.
  Palate: rich ripe plum, blueberry, cassis. Some savouriness and meatiness, as on the nose, like with good blueberries. White pepper. Some old oak, sweet spice. Moderate fresh berry-like acidity; moderately drying chunky tannins, especially on the finish. Quite rich and ripe. Would age well? Full bodied, 14% alcohol. Seal: screwcap.
