A delightful bottle. Full bodied, overripe in an Amarone sort of way, with fig and raisin. It just feels certain to retain its balance though. Way more weight and heft than other 14s I’ve encountered. Unique and enigmatic.

Bonneau Brett and cooked red fruit aromas without too much complexity. On the palate it’s medium+ acidity and high tannins. Clearly too early to open this, keep T least for 5-10 more years

La Tablee: Bonneau retrospective (Mercerie): Very fresh with almost a hint of mint to this. Darker in nature but all red fruits. Some mineral. Almost an iron ore. Powerful wine. Way too young. I haven't had much experience with the base CdP but this definitely impressed me.
