First and foremost this is very good value (in the local context) at about 600 baht. I find Sangiovese very easy to pick blind and this would have been no exception on aromas alone. Savoury, plenty of herbs, bitter red fruits; almost gamey. Grainy tannin is midweight. Holding very well at the price at 9yrs, impressive really, although it is fading I suspect. Will be back.

A good bottle this one. Savoury, herbs, but very good fruit weight for a modest wine at 9yrs. Some chocolate even! Travelling nicely.

Quite decent, if somewhat basic Chianti, with light cherry fruit and a slight caramel flavour. OK for the price.
