I've been waiting to drink this for awhile and it didn't disappoint. This is a classy pinot with features typical of the region. Particularly earthy. I recommend you stand this up as it has sediment that should settle to the bottom.

Drank with marinated pork and polenta. This is drinking great right now, it is peaking. Lots of fruit and drinkability and with some hints of earth in it...real pleasure. Was a huge hit among wine afficianados at dinner.

Bottle decanted 1 hr. Strong flavors of red cherry with some blueberry, all-spice and rounded out with vanilla. Medium body with a smooth structure and a nice finish.

Blind tasted against other Oregon Pinots...destroyed the competition and got better as the night wore on. Was the most expensive: $42. ken wright's 1st blend is big, bold but has a lot of elegance. Made from Nysa, McCrone and Canary Hill vineyards
