  This bottle has a lot of earth and mineral flavors mixed with cherry and strawberry. The earth and mineral flavors predominate, but in a nicely balanced sort of way. (As opposed to, "where's the fruit?"). This does still have a bit of the well regarded 2008 flavor profile but this is adding complexity to the wine instead of dominating it. Dave makes excellent wines and this is a nice example of his work.
