Ruby red hue. A well rounded and layered wine with dark cherries and ripe plum. A very pleasing drink. Still got plenty of life in it, I would happily drink it over the next three years and reassess then.

The appearance is clear and medium ruby in colour.
The nose is clean with medium(+) intensity aromas. There are primary aromas of red fruit (strawberry, raspberry), black fruit (black cherry, blackberry, bramble), secondary aromas of oak (toast, cedar, charred wood, vanilla, cloves), coffee, and tertiary aromas of bottle age (dried leaves, earth, braised meat). The wine is developing.
On the palate, the wine is dry with medium(+) acidity, high alcohol, medium tannin, and medium(+) body. The flavour intensity is medium(+) showing primary notes of red fruit (strawberry, raspberry), black fruit (black cherry, blackberry, bramble), secondary aromas of oak (toast, cedar, charred wood, vanilla, cloves), coffee, and tertiary aromas of bottle age (dried leaves, earth, braised meat). The finish has a medium length.
Very good quality wine; can drink now, but has potential for ageing.
