Opened and decanted 30-min ahead of seared Carne Asada steak and mixed salad. Pale crimson color. Floral, funky nose brings underbrush, garrigue, blueberry-rhubarb, cherry mint, and dusty chalk. The palate is medium, round, and juicy, bringing a nice core of red and blue fruit mixed with black licorice, herbal tea, wood smoke, and wild herbs, which flows into a tannic finish of orange peel and Manhattan cherries. Light on its feet and versatile to go with a variety of food. Drink 2025-2032. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.

Decanted for about two hours. Poured back in bottle. Let it sit for about 3 more hours Getting tart with light to medium tannin structure that lingers with acidity taking a back seat the tannins. If u have bottles I would suggest not opening an holding them. Even if it’s only for a few more months. Let the wine start to build itself into what it will be. It’s not ready in my opinion. But works well with a semi heavy dish

Medium, nearly deep red. Perhaps a little more traditional Châteauneuf here, this bottle lacking some of the freshness and energy found in one opened in October. The nose offers aromas of mostly stewed and dried red fruits, alongside notes of date molasses, five spice powder, lilacs, lavender and thyme. Full bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity, there's an element of freshness driven by the acidity but the fruit is still very dried and stewed. I don't know.
