Color: Transparent ruby/purple. Pale garnet at the rim. Nose: Only slightly funky. Cherries, red berries. Slightly green. Mouth: Good to very good expessiveness. Cherries are predominant but there are berries, too. Good length. Fresh. Lean and tight. Light to medium bodied. Alc. is quite high for a Beaujolais (13.5%) but not noticeable, at all. After a while I can taste a hint of that banana flavor that is so typical for Beaujolais. It would go very well with grilled fish.
