Quite modern with raspberries and dark cherries still dominating the bouquet. Also some earthy and mushroom aromas start to intermingle. On the palate it is quite rich for a village. Drinking nicely right know, but it should keep for another 3-6 years.

Nice mix of medium and darker toned red fruits, some hints of forest floor and earthiness poke through. Overall very tight, even when following over the course of many hours. I'd leave this one alone for several more years.

Although this definitely suffers from a bit of 05 hugesness, there is some grace here, a subtle something that emerges with an hour open. but mostly it is a big fruity wine that has less to do with place than with fruit. tasty nonetheless.

Decanted for an hour and consumed. On the nose, nice nose of fresh raspberries. On the palate, totally overwhelmed by oak. Next time, will have to see if an extremely long period of aeration can help, as there seems to be nice underlying fruit that the oak simply masks. I hope so, because as is it's nearly undrinkable.

day 1 - creamy red fruits that are overwhelmed by the oak. needs a chunk of time to integrate the wood. day 2 - huge improvement - sweet talcum flavors replaced the oak and rich red fruits held strong. plenty of structure, so should improve with a few more years in the bottle.
