Make sure it is cold and well aired. Served together with charc, brie and prefered crackers it was nice in front of the open fire while the snow layed white on the ground. Merry Christmas 2022!

Excellent, both in absolute terms as quality-price-ratio. Cost 12 EUR (for many years it was 10...), drinks like 20-25 at least. As some better earlier vintages, this dehesa la granja manages to be very spicy and elegant in a very characteristic way. Difficult to stop.

Full body, deep purple color. Fruit forward aroma of black cherry, blackberry, spices and balsamic notes. Following by same palate and hot finish. Too young, powerful and heavy now, unbalanced alcohol, albeit nice acidity and grippy tannins. Enjoyable with Mediterranean salad and Manchego cheese. Open three hours ahead. Serve 16ºC - 18ºC. Drink now while young and next four years.

Dehesa la Granja is one of my standard QPR-champions when it comes to red wines - not this bottle, unfortunately.
There's nothing gravely wrong with it, but it's a pretty trivial, simple affair. Probably / hopefully bottle variation.
