  Opened and paired with grilled Sockeye salmon and fixings. Dark purple color. Floral nose brings tart rhubarb and black currant. The palate is medium, square, and expressive, bringing deep black and blue fruit with hints of cloves, black tea, wood smoke, and a high-toned red raspberry note into a smooth finish. Held its acidity even as it warmed (80 degrees on back patio). Not super complex but balanced and representative of the vintage. Drink 2023-2028. Technical score: 90. Enjoyment score: 90.

  100% destemmed, 10-15% new oak. 30ha/hl. From Les Prarons-Dessus, a village plot located below the Premier Crus and near Chassagne side. Darker shade of fruits with much chewier tannins and firmer structure. Good richness, hints of tar but requires more cellaring. (82-83/100)
