  Sonoma value Chardonnay retasted. 2018 Landmark Chardonnay Overlook, $20. Mid gold, viscous (14.2 alc.); light citrus nose, stone fruit, oak (10 months French oak, 25% new); low-medium acids; tasty round, ripe, semi-lush finish. 16-16.5 UC Davis scale, 90-91 other scales.

  Long after dinner is over, I could go on sipping and enjoying this wine well into the evening. And I'm usually more into red wine, or whiskey, after dinner. This is a nice Chardonnay that I have tasted several times before, and will continue to buy. There's just something I really like about it. Maybe it's the French oak - not too heavy, just right.

  Not much of a Chardonnay drinker, but this wine was delightful. Would buy again. Not to heavy on the oak and we’ll made. Paired with smoked salmon and crispy Brussels sprouts.
