  • Ruby red color, black cherry and spices aromas. Elegant with delicate tannins. Excellent wine

  • Decanted for 2 hours the 2015 vintage, opened up nicely. Dark but clean ruby in colour. Distant on the nose. Medium body, sharp and clean on the palate. Although 15% alcohol, but not overpowering. The flavours and of fresh dark fruits, balanced acidity and complexity. I do think it might be worth waiting 3 to 4 more years. Luckily I have a few more bottles of this left.

  • The wine is clear, with deep ruby color, slightly garnet towards the rims, and thick tears.

On the nose the wine is clean, with medium primary aroma intensity of red fruits, strawberry, red berries, herbal notes, hints of black tea leaves, herbaceous, along with medium minus tertiary aroma intensity of mushrooms, gravel, and raisins.

On the palate the wine is dry, with medium plus acidity, medium plus ripe tannins, high alcohol (15 Abv.), medium plus body, medium plus primary flavor intensity of ripe black fruits, black plums, blackberries, cassis, floral notes, flowers, hints of spices.
    Finish is long.

The wine is of an outstanding quality to my opinion, as it is presenting excellent balance between fruit concentration, alcohol and acidity, whereas no one is overpowering, all pleasantly integral.
It has great length, beautiful intensity, and complexity both on the nose & palate.

It was expressive enough at time of tasting, however most components, especially on the palate were primary, thus I believe it will benefit from further bottle aging, mainly in order to soften down a bit the tannins and to bring to front more of the tertiary aromas and flavor within its potential.

Big, broad, beautiful, and absolutely delicious wine!

  • I decanted this for over four hours. This shows off its class discounted this for over four hours. This shows off the class with deep and balance tones of black cherries, black raspberry cake, licorice, leather, some crushed rocks, violets, plums, and a touch of tobacco notes. The full body field shows off how good this wine is as it is silky across the pallet with tart, medium acidity and youthful, medium plus tannins that are all backed up by a long finish. This still has some baby fat on it and can use a few more years to fully come together. That said, it’s an absolutely gorgeous wine right now in a complete joy to drink.
