Bright yellow golden colour. An intense nose of almond, candied lemon and a touch of ripe yellow apple. In the mouth medium bodied with crisp acidity and a slightly grippy texture. There is a smoky note and some salinity. Great length with a lingering smoky lemon flavour. Unlike any Chardonnay outside of Jura. Unique character, complex, yet very versatile with food. A great wine, drinking very well now. (I’d recommend to decant though)

Unfortunately my last bottle, but this is drinking great today. Has that characteristic savory note on the palate that I love. Good acidity and persistence. An idiosyncratic style of Chardonnay, but one I could drink very happily.

Not quite sure how to score this and how “good” it is but it certainly has presence and is rather bold. Huge nose with oak and that slightly Jura oxidative nutty note that makes you think of flor though I believe it wasn’t produced that way. Plenty of oak and lots of acidity with a real smack of lime and lemon on the finish. A real zip and pucker on the finish. One for food and the long haul as this is quite intense in many ways - could be rather good this.

A nice nose. Slight oak and straw. Clear golden color. Medium acid. Smooth finish.
