Classic red Burgundy nose with wild strawberries, cherries, and violets. Lots of tannins with red berries, fruit, and cedar on the palate. Good acidity. Nice finish. This is still quite young and tannic. I guessed 2009/2010, but not surprised it’s a 2005. Promising, but this needs time. I hope the tannins will soften while the fruit and acidity are still there... 93+

This is nowhere near ready. I would suggest in a bit of a dumb phase. It was hugely enjoyable, but the acidity was the mainstay here. I think it needs a lot of time and a lot of air to allow it to realise it’s potential.
