Aromas of vanilla, tart cherries, and blueberries intermingle.
Tart cherries and other red fruits on the palate along with vanilla. The wine is medium bodied, but felt a bit sharp-edged in the mouth. The flavors were hasty and quickly followed by light tannins in the shorter finish.
Balance wasn't there, and the wine didn't really come through to me as a California cab. Perhaps the very generic California designation gave that away. The acidity came through at the wrong times, and the fruit flavors felt weak but were semi-consistent with the lack of strong tannins.
83 points. QPR is not that bad to be honest, bought for <$10, if a less jammy cheaper red is desired.

Deep garnet in color. Pretty simplistic nose of red and black berries and maybe a touch of graphite.
Low tannin and low acidity. Medium mouth feel. This comes across as very grapey to me. There's some red currant flavor here, as well as some faint dark chocolate on the finish, but overall fairly dilute and thin.
Not spectacular wine, to say the least.

Initially a muted black cherry nose that later includes vanillin. It has a cherry palate that is very, very sweet. No harsh tannins. It reminds me of mass market Paso Robles Cabernet that has not complexity but almost manufactured to taste a certain way.
