Ready to go on pop and pour. Lamy tends to be on the lightweight side but 2018 balances that perfectly. Peachy orchard fruit, balanced with lively acidity. None of the vintage over ripeness, and with air just becomes more expressive. Really tasty stuff.

Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Firm, blue and black fruit, concentrated, modern style, grippy tannins.

Red fruits play on a chalky base. It is bright and chiselled, showing excellent detail with plenty of buffering fat. Delicious wine.
