Lacking a bit in acidity and a little thin on the finish, but some interesting flavors - fennel seed, tobacco, faded cherry fruit. Probably much better 5-10 years ago but still drinkable.

What an amazing wine from this underrated tuscan vintage. Colour is still red with browinsh notes, indcating maturity, slightly watery at the rim. The nose is leather, iron, herbs, grass, smoke, cherries. In the mouth this wines grows throughout the evening as it started out slightly angular and rustic and now, after four hours, is packed and stacked with very ripe dark cherries, an acidity that will cut through a bistecca fiorentina and an aftertaste that leaves you with a smile on your face and beautiful memories of Radda in Chianti on you mind. My kind of wine - this balance of fruit and razorsharp acidity - yes please.

Really smooth - well integrated - cherry fruit backed with some spice and tobacco, leather. Amazingly, fruit becomes more pronounced with more time in the glass. Really enjoyable. Good nose of leather, tobacco, slight cherry.
