This is a little baby, will surely develop into a grest one. It has a lot of fruits, very intense, very full. Opened for 1 day, then the wine developed into a beautiful one with complex aroma with a good mix of floral, berrys. Very full body with long finishing. Need to wait at least 5 more yrs.

100% Pinot Noir from 1.01 ha parcel south of Les Vaucrains and above Les Saint Georges on a steep slope at 260-300 with yellowish brown and light sandy soils and vines planted in 1999 farmed organically. Manual harvest. Rigorous sorting before complete de-steming. Long cold maceration. Fermentation with natural yeast at <29°C. Malolactic in oak barrels (15-20% new). Aged ~18 months. 13.5% Abv. History: Henri Gouges acquired first parcel in NSG in 1920. Sons Marcel and Michel replanted in 1940 and expanded to 14 ha. Grandsons Pierre and Christian modernized and began exportation.
