Beautiful nose; unmistakably Sangiovese, but it a sedusive and exotic way, complemented by quality wood (chestnut?) - wow.
In the mouth, very homogenous, less animalic than the typical Tuscan Sangiovese, more on the smooth side of things. Right upon opening the after-taste is missing but I'm sure that will come with air.
Update: I like this one - not terribly sophisticated but it has depth without being heavy, is homogenous and has a kind of elegance about it.
Price of ca. 13 EUR is perfectly OK; I'd say slighly better than averge.
UPDATE: one day after opening, this is still okay, but it has faded into a simpler, much more trivial wine, 86-ish. So - drink up on day of opening.

Really nice SG, aromatic, a bit high acid and rustic at first, but went superbly with the Gramigna pasta. At Twinside Bologna.
