GT Wine March 2022 - Eden Valley & Great Southern Riesling (Winespace, Surry Hills): Struck match, savoury, earthy, plummy, pretty blackberry lozenge in support with a little, slight smoky, peppery note. Nose says steak. There is the sensation of residual sugar on the palate which is a little off-putting, talc-textured tannins, alcohol warmth, the fruit less delineated - nose more fun than the palate.

Deep ruby.
Pronounced nose with violet, raspberry, blackcurrant, smoke, pepper and mint.
Pronounced and peppery on the palate. High acidity, medium plus tannins, full body, high alcohol, long finish.
Well balanced wine with good complexity, length and intensity.
