  • Great showing, lots of citrus fruits, apple, subtle crushed rock on the nose, similar palate with bright harmonious acidity, lots of energy and and a wonderful finish

  • Another outstanding Morgen Long Chard...I can't stop drinkin them! Decanted this one for an hour...very pale white gold color...pretty nose of wet rocks, candied flower blossoms(? I know), cedar dust, faint flint strike...again....AMAZING crystalline purity in this wine! Bright and energized with grapefruit/lime squeeze, crisp orchard fruit...but also a little sneaky richness of butter sauteed green apples...killer dry extract...salty sea air with a little whiff of someones camp fire up the mountain...the texture is SO invitingly plush, yet refreshingly tart...pleasing finish of salted limes and candied flower blossoms(has to be a thing). LOVE this wine!

  • 2 hours in decanter. Oak, butter and apples on the nose. Dry. Nice acidety and fresh fruit. Oak snd butter on the palate. Long, vanilla, exit. A very nice Oregon Chardonnay 👍

  • Pale yellow with clear rim. This required lots of air (in fact, was better on day two), but once it got going, notes of lemon drops, sea spray, ginger and white flowers were all easy to find. In the mouth, the wine is medium-bodied, loaded with citrus fruits, green apple and minerals. There is ample dry extract here, yet the wine is surprisingly graceful as it glides on the palate, finishing with excellent cut and chalky persistence. An outstanding Chardonnay that will likely improve with a few more years in the cellar. 13% ABV. 93.
