Had in Paris at Vin de Bourgogne restaurant. Wonderful. The sommelier told our waiter it was like a Volnay - lighter, structured - which sounds right. Kept giving and improving through the bottle. Beef Bourgogne and a pastry of duck and duck foie gras. Great Paris dinner.

Clear ruby Quite tart with an odd sauerkraut nose at first which thankfully blew off leaving bright cherry fruit. Much further along than in 2021, but clearly needing more time. Opens up with an hour

(resto) bu à la suite du Sérol, il nous fait changer de dimension. Un bourgogne sur la finesse, avec un élevage classieux qui mélange fruits rouges frais et notes boisées super élégantes. L'acidité reste sous les radars, mais le profil est frais, jolie longueur. C'est un bébé qui pour l'instant ne montre pas ce dont il est capable, la fin de la bouteille aérée le montre sur un profil plus ferme, les tanins apparaissent, la mâche se fait plus consistante. S'il se boit déjà très bien, cela promet de belles choses dans 10 ans !

sb Served a bit too cold Fairly deep clear ruby purple Ripe with a hint of VA and a natural feel to the nose and initial tart flavors. Blind I initially thought this was a northern Italian natural wine. With a good bit of air and warmth this livens up quite a bit, borders on overripe plummy flavors but the acidity keeps it in check; then a moderately tannic finish. This particular bottle clearly needs time and a decant. More impressive than enjoyable at this point, but nice bones on it and it’s growing on me. 90+ YFS

Tres joli vin. Nez de fruit rouge, ronce et noyau de cerise. Bouche tres équilibrée. Le joli Bourgogne par excellence
