Pretty tasty; young and with a dark ruby color; nose with some black cherry and lots mineral notes; hint of earth and floral notes; the palate is quite fresh for an '18 with a juicy salinity; good depth and then the tannins become more prominent. The balance is really quite nice for the vintage; its drinkable now, but has the structure to age for many years.

Initially very savoury on the nose with noticeable alcohol and tart on the palate. Needed at least 30 mins to open up. Some whole bunch (stemminess)? Fairly delicate balance of red fruits and forest floor. Drank over dinner at Lake House Restaurant (Daylesford, VIC Australia) where it was significantly overpriced at >AU$400/bottle.

Vibrant color. Light to medium body, very noticeable taste of stems and the associated tannins into the finish. But there’s a decent balance, fruit (primarily tart raspberry) and finish.

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Walk around tasting. Broad berry array here, red and black, bright and brooding. More firm and even less accessible vs Fournaux, but this has more depth. Even more patience required, wait until 2028 or (much) later.
