Giovanni Corino Wine Tasting (Oinoscent): The wine is more earthy than Manescotto, closer to La Morra. Feels drier, pot pouri, dried roses, dried currants, cherries, olive but there is also a fresh side in it. The wine is lighter in body than expected, the fruit is more to overripe/dried, crunchy, dusty texture, a bit on the decadent side, cinnamon, medium finish, aggressive tannins and high acidity

L'Insieme Tasting 2020: Too much alcohol on both nose and palate, almost smells like 'Schnaps', also some rustic oak flavors on the palate - brett?, the fruit is dense but seems to be overripe and the wine flavors remind me of port wine, very spicy, silky tannins, but no elegance. I have had much better Giachini vintages, but 2016 and 2015 are not vintages that I enjoy. - 89 points

Powerful. Tannins are not tough. Would wait a couple of years before drinking again
