A great Washington Syrah that is balanced, easy drinking, and has just enough complexity to keep you interested. Nothing to really wow you, but I liked it nonetheless. It seems to align with the trending newer world style of WWC.

From the Winery (I have not tasted): This wine shows beautifully with its dark ruby color, rich high-toned fruit, balanced acidity and great proportion. Notes of black fruits, vanilla, coconut an turned soil come forth. Complex flavors of Herbs de Provence, toasted oak, and earth are enticing; the lively tannins are fine grained and mature. This wine is generous and balanced enough to enjoy now, yet with the complexity and structure to age well for six or more years. 100% Estate Syrah; 14.8% by volume.

Good easy drinking. Nothing special, but wouldn’t turn it down.
