(BALIFICO Volpaia) Redux Dear Friends, A number of offers over the last few weeks have left many of you without an allocation – quantities have been tight and it’s been very difficult to get everyone what they wished for. Two items in specific caused a number of you to send me “not so happy” notes – the 2006 Faiveley Les Porets and the 2004 Balifico – both sold out so quickly there was barely time to blink. I was unable to acquire additional wine at the same low wholesale price but I’ve found a small parcel of each at closer to what they should cost (also with perfect provenance). Considering so many of you were shut out on the first go-around, I will pass along the original tariff on both wines as a show of good faith. If you have any interest in either wine, please let Nicki know at your earliest convenience (preferably this evening or early tomorrow morning – thank you in advance): 2006 Faiveley “Les Porets-Saint-Georges” 1er (Nuits-Saint-Georges) - LIMIT 6/person No, this isn’t Romanee-Conti but it sure is nice to have a well-made bottle of 1er red Burgundy (in the ) in the cellar; compare at in the US. 2004 Castello di Volpaia “Balifico” (Tuscany) - LIMIT 3/person No, this isn’t Sassicaia but it sure is nice to have a well-made bottle of Cabernet-based Tuscan wine (under ) in the cellar; compare at Both are FIRST COME FIRST SERVED up to the stated limits until we run out. To order either of the above: nicki@garagistewine.com This parcel is set to arrive in a few weeks – it is not a long-term pre-arrival (please check OARS for local pick-up after May 15th). It will ship during the Spring shipping season if weather allows. Out of state orders will be held for free under ideal storage conditions (56 degrees/70%humidity) until shipping is possible. Locals may pick up at their leisure. For current local pick up and arrival/ship information, please see your OARS link below (at the bottom of this offer) - don’t know how to access your OARS? Simply click the link and see your account. You can also paste the link into your browser. If you are having trouble with your link or your account, please contact: support@garagistewine.com NO SALES TO RETAILERS OR WHOLESALERS Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Burg3399 Italy6252
