Good flavors of guava, papaya, pear, apricot and some muskyness going on as well. Big for a Viognier, and a bit clunky in my opinion...but still enjoyable.

NOSE: a honeyed bouquet with oak and brioche on the attack; notes of apricot and chalky minerality bring up the rear.
BODY: straw yellow color; medium bodied.
TASTE: A nice pineapple flavor gives way to pear on the long finish. Notes of musk melons emerge after the bottle has been open a couple of hours. There's a big hole going from mid to rear palate, and the finish is a bit hot, but overall this is good, although not complex.

(Denner Viognier) #4; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-gorgeous golden; NOSE-heavy lime; little hints of sugar cane; sunflowers; subtle hints of Passion fruit; little hint of Papaya on the finish; TASTE-it's way too hot; the alcohol is ripping through my palate and overrides everything else; great weight & mouthfeel; very elegant; nice Passion fruit; nice acidity, but too hot; RP-91; GV-85

vaynerchuk is right, this wine is hot with aromas of passion fruit, papaya, and pear.. the 2007 viognier is
by far superior to this '06.
