  • The bottle has been sitting in my collection for 7-8 years. Drank most of it before CellarTracker. Was always a good solid wine, especially for the price. Very fruit forward, but not overpowering. Not a complex finish but surprisingly smooth. Superb for $10/bottle. Too bad BV doesn't make it anymore. Would be a great everyday wine.

  • Perfectly fine bin end wine59% Zinfandel 11% Petite Sirah 10% Charbono 9% Syrah 5% Lagrein 4% Valdiguié 2% Touriga Nacional Opaque, black-ruby violet color. Very deep, concentrated, yet bright aromas of licorice, black berry, black pepper and violets all evoke the various grapes contributing to this unique cuvee. Full-bodied, ripe flavors show great fruit concentration balanced by solid acidity and moderate tannins that provide a fresh finish and length to the wine. Rich without being heavy, complex yet generous and forthright, this wine is enjoyable now, but will easily age another 4-6 years gracefully
