  • Textbook red blend Bordeaux. A young elegant & complex Bordeaux blend made from 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Fresh fruits, medium to full bodied, with youthful tannins, and a long finish. This wine was smooth, harmonious, and well balanced. Drinking very well now, but it can only get better with proper cellaring.

  • Smooth easy drinking food friendly wine. Nice perfume smell along with cassis, oak, vanilla, spice, ripe black fruits and a tiny bit of cherry. The palate starts out with vanilla leading to juicy red and black fruits, violets, oak and pepper. The end is dry but not too dry, also a hint of dusty tannins that lingers a bit, not a distraction though. Good QPR

  • This vegan-friendly blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon has an open and fragrant nose with lovely dark fruited aromas of blackberry, black plum, currant, cassis, wood spice, and vanilla with savoury undertones. On the ripe, medium-full bodied, and structured palate it has dark berry, blackberry, leather, and wood spice flavours, with a hint of jammy notes. Fresh acids are juicy and well-balanced, while the structured tannins are youthful. Savoury, earthy, and cocoa notes linger on the long, drying finish.

  • The elegant nose showed a lot of class for this modest Bordeaux. Fresh, balanced and uplifting notes of ripe minty blueberries, dark chocolate and lightly smoked spices with the cedary oak at the very bottom just to give a touch of complexity. If tasted blind, one might have guessed this is an entry level classified growth from the left bank. This clearly shows that when the vintage is right, Bordeaux is amazing, even for an entry level wine. Palate continued to show the complexity of the nose with decent length and depth. The tannins are grippy for now but the underlining elements are well groomed and the medium-bodied palate will improve when the tannins get finally integrated into the structure. The finish is rich and extended, with a long aftertaste of smoked spices and blueberry skin. Drink this now with minimal decanting needed but you will want to keep this for 2 more years. You should not be surprised when it drinks even better on the second day, if you store the remaining bottle properly. I wouldn’t hesitate to age this wine for another 5-8 years. For the price you are paying for this bottle, it is very good value for money.
