Outstanding example of California pinot. Excellent mature flavors in a medium to light bodied wine that is definitely not a fruit bomb. AFWEs should really look for Paul Lato wines.

Eucalyptus notes with a dark hued garnet complexity. Unfiltered with layers of complexity with nose of seared beef or lamb. This win should age nicely for several years - Personally, I will look for another bottle to pop in 3 years. Cool stuff, but I did pop this cork too soon, but I wanted to share w/ a couple of Pinotphiles along w/ Paella.

First tried at Wine Cask Futures tasting. My tasting notes said "Closest domestic to Chambolle Musigny". Then read Doug Margerum's notes, and he compared it to a Ch-Mus too! Why can't anyone else in SB make such superb pinot?

Really great stuff. Layers of velvety complexity. Intoxicating nose with some cinnamon/gingerbread. Wish I had more.
