Another interesting bottling from Alpha Estate. Aromatic and expressive on the nose with cherry, ripe plum, strawberry, spice, cranberry, rose and some medicinal notes. There is a great purity and balance to the palate (the oak well hidden) which has a broad texture and ripe fruit, fanning out nicely into a brisk finish. Still youthful, it's a wine to follow over the next few years. A straight up delicious Pinot Noir.
