  • Deep gold color. Tasting well and aged. Nose or perfume is not that noticeable. Not bad. Noticed the alcohol. 1st night. Just opened.
2nd night. Noticed the alcohol again. Well aged taste on the palate. Thick viscosity.
Notes of apples and malic acid.

  • I last tasted this 26 months ago and the development has been a great example of why to age Rhone blanc. Followed over 24 hours open. Deep gold hue with a bright reflection and slow legs that carry the tint down the side. Even the empty glass maintains the gold stain. The nose is fascinating: lightly oxidized and giving up notes of Gran Marnier, styrofoam, hazelnut, merengue, balsa wood, and meyer lemon. Fully weighted and generous, but also delicate and laserlike precision in the structure. Just lovely. Really convinces me to lay down white Rhones, maybe even the Paso ones, to get these secondary traits that are so interesting. I'd have confidence with this lasting another 3-4 years. 5+12+17+8 = 92

  • No detailed notes as this was drunk late at night and everyone thought it delicious.

  • Fresh tropical notes on the nose. Full bodied. Tight acid holding it together. Long full finish.

  • Open 3 hours, at room temp: A nose of pineapple, pear, mango and fresh pine. Smells delicious. Beautiful full CdP blanc body with rich but somehow uncloying viscosity. Rich pineapple, slight tropical notes, light greenness, some wood. Long, developed finish. Fresh acidity keeps everything in check. Still tasting this 20 seconds later. Freaking delicious stuff that is drinking great now.
