Found a wine that would go with a meat/veg pie using pork tenderloin and butternut squash as the main ingredients and this was the ticket. A bit lighter in body due to the age I think, but still enough to stand up yet not overwhelm it. It had pitted fruit elements and honeysuckle on the nose, but was bone dry. A really enjoyable wine to pair with uncommon flavors and spices for the price point.

Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of talc, lime spritz and wet stones. Flavors of peach, lime and apricot. Medium to bright acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.

Quite fresh, almost tropical fruit on the nose, with a hint of banana. Quite a subtle palate for white Chateauneuf, but fills out nicely. Very good, but doesn't thrill me.

A very light nose of wet stainless steel, green pear and butter. Green pear shows strong the palate with a nice minerality. Full bodied for a white wine, this carries great acidity as well. I really enjoyed it despite my lacking notes.

This nose is full on cold steel. It's a crazy experience in that sense. There's some honey and a hint of citrus on the nose as well. The wine has nice pear flavors when tasted, and is very well made. The front and mid palate are decadent. The acidity on the finish is a little disjointed. 88+
