  I opened this bottle after noting that the Wine Spectator said it should be drunk by 2004. Great surprise! The wine was very pleasant. Smokey, dark cherry, plum tast. Good aftertast. I tried it shortly after opening, then went back after about 3 hours. The fruit taste was much stronger, the smoke was less obvious. A nice wine, especially for the price.
