  • An unfiltered wine. Popped and poured from screwcap. Slightly hazy golden yellow in the glass. Rather vibrant nose of ripe apple, mineral, salinity, hint of citrus. Medium bodied, dry, rather refreshing, a bit hollow on the palate, tiny fruit likewise the nose, notes of mineral/pepper with a slight dusty kick on the finish. Not your typical GV. A bit underwhelming on the palate.

  • I think my bottle is something different from this listing, it’s a translucent 1L bottle and doesn’t have the word “handcrafted” anywhere, but I can’t find a closer listing than this. It was $20 at a local store.

Dry with zesty lime and lemon, cucumber/celery, salt, mineral. M to M+ acid, good mouthfeel with a little pop. For a $20 liter bottle, this is everything you could ask for; very good qpr. Had this with a mixed plate of breaded and fried mushrooms, baked Camembert with maple syrup and sliced garlic and thyme, roasted radish and carrot with zaatar seasoning, salad of chopped spinach and arugula with cherry tomato and balsamic vinaigrette; good pairing all around but the thyme-garlic Camembert was an especially perfect match. This should be food flexible though and is good enough to drink by itself too; the relatively low alcohol and large format bottle are pluses. 6.3/10
