This wine has a nose of blackberries, blueberries and pie spices. The first tastes are similar making it a fruit bomb of a wine. The finish has hints of earthy tones and black licorice with mild tannins. There isn't a lot of complexity here, but it is a pleasant drinking wine.
Served with strip steaks, mashed potatoes, green beans and warm Semolina bread.

Smith easy to drink with beautiful dark fruit flavors. Body is boldness is big for a Merlot, trending towards a cab Very enjoyable. (Drank at Roka Akor Scottsdale)

Dark berries--blackberry, currant--and unsweetened prunes on entry. A lot of mid-palate earthiness. Perhaps some tobacco, Some serious tannins. If I did not see the label, I would have guessed this to be a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. Very interesting.

Excellent, fleshy and forward Merlot, with excellent varietal expression. Toasted oak beautifully frames the merlot character, and adds a seductive personality. Drinking extremely well right now, but I imagine will develop in the near to early mid term. Very good!
