Just like the Pinot Noir, I want to try this in 4-5 years too, it seems to have the structure and acid to give it longevity. Really crisp and refreshing, but my overriding memory is of the wet stone and flint that hit me first. The autolysis is evident too.

Very pale lemon with aromas of yellow citrus and just ripe stone fruit, a little melon & mango, slightly floral and the faintest hint of ground dried ginger. Beautifully crisp with high, but not tart, lemony acidity, a light touch of smoke & almond and a long almost saline finish. No dairy notes but the lees work adds body making the wine quite full in the mouth. Almost a Chabliesque tension; Cracking!

Excellent, balanced and surprisingly flavourful Chard from Eng vineyards. I've had pretty thin and insipid Eng Chards in recent years but this one is elegant and I imagine will only gently improve between now and 2025ish.

Virtual wine tasing with Terry Kandylis, organized by London's 67 Pall Mall club (non-blind): Wine 2 of 6. Medium yellow-golden colour, with some CO2. Fresh citrus notes, green apple, toasty oak and some smoke, with high, sour acidity and good length. Medium-bodied. Burgundy-style. Needs time. At its current stage, it might pair well with oysters. 89+(?)
