Very good as usual. Lovely, prominent, fine and dusty tannin. Floral tea, cherry, herbal, damascenone nose. There is not as much flavor on the palate, but I suppose that’s for the Barolos etc.

This is a very mineral-driven, austere Langhe, the best way to describe it is to lick a gravel driveway :) The nose is quite floral along with cherries, fresh earth, tar, gravel, and anise. The palate is rich, yet also mineral and stony, tannins a little too grainy, with a light dusting of berry fruit, surrounding a core of crushed stones, gravel, dried herbs, finishing a little rustic. I wanted to like Sottimano so much, yet I just feel this either need heaps of time or is just like this. Honestly not a huge fan of this style. 2019 is meant to be a goodish year as well :(

not blind
Disappointing, too watery, no concentration, no fruits, tannins felt a bit unripe. 87

Solid, basic Nebbiolo. Think Produttori 10-15 years ago

Flickinger Customer Appreciation Tasting (Casino Club - Chicago IL): Walk-around tasting. Floral with plenty of red berries everywhere. Sneaky good length. Probably a great value wine.
