There is a reason Petit Verdot is used as a blending grape to add deep color, tannin, and structure to Bordeaux blends. Thanks to Kenneth Volk for offering this - a rare chance to try PV on its own. Deep color and tannic even after 10 years. Hard to pick out specific fruits. Lack complexity and depth. Good with fat burger.
