Super black peppery and dried crushed herbs, oak, vegetal stems but not green, animal, licorice, sweetness-beef, musky, earthy, mushrooms, forest floor, wet slightly rotting leaves , white peppery
Bold, spicy, tart, medium acidity, chalky gritty abrasive tannins
3.7- intriguing, very little fruit
Band aid!!!!! Brettanomyces??? Is that the meat aroma?!?!
Day 2 Smoke tar boysenberry easy tannins
It’s sweet but not actually. Just very smooth and balanced

Dark ruby colour with hints of purple. Aromas of dark fruit, leather, and flint. Great ripe dark fruit taste (blueberry in particular) with black pepper notes. Dry and lingering pleasant aftertaste. Really enjoyable on its own and paired well with smoked ham and roasted veggies.

Huge QPR. Brooding dark fruit nose. Leather, garigue, earth and black fruit on the deep rich palate. Nice balanace with good acid that is keeping everything very fresh. Long finish.

On the nose: blueberries, black pepper, graphite, wild herbs and distressed leather. A little bell pepper 15 mins later.
On the palate: excellent acidity with all but resolved tannins - perfect.
Impressionnant.

60% whole cluster. Mid purple. Intense nose of blackberry, herbs, bacon/animal, black pepper, earth. Palate confirms. Impressive length, good acidity, well-managed tannins. Balanced and showing excellent varietal character. Outstanding value.
